Punjab has the talent.
We're building the AI skills infrastructure.

AST Ventures — AI Skills & Training — puts the right tools, curriculum and teaching into the hands of Punjab's raw, extraordinary talent. Labs in schools. Centres on campuses. Career programs for students. Franchise centres in every district.

The thesis

The proof exists. The infrastructure doesn't.

Three models have already been proven at scale, in three different countries. None of them has been built for tier-2 and tier-3 India, in its own languages. That is the gap AST Ventures exists to close.

State infrastructure

China made AI education state infrastructure — mandatory K–12 AI curriculum and a national network of designated AI base schools.

The AI-native school

The United States proved the model — campuses where AI tutors compress academics into hours and free the rest of the day for building real things.

Centres that scale

China's Squirrel AI proved that physical AI-learning centres scale as a network — thousands of them, in cities most tech companies never visit.

India has now issued its own mandate. AI compulsory in CBSE schools from 2026–27. 50,000 new tinkering labs funded. Roughly ten million teachers to be trained. The opportunity is identical — and almost nobody is building the delivery infrastructure. We are. Starting in Jalandhar.
Four models

One platform. Four ways in.

Whether you run a school, a university, a family's education decisions or a business you want to build — there is a way into the AST network.

Why Punjab

The talent was never the problem.

Punjab produces builders. What it has not had is the delivery layer — labs that work, teachers who have been trained properly, curriculum that keeps up, and a path from a classroom in Jalandhar to a job that pays like one in Bengaluru.

For decades that gap has been solved by leaving. We think it can be solved by building instead — starting with the schools and campuses that are already here.

How it works

From first conversation to a running centre

The same four steps whether you are a school principal, a vice-chancellor or a franchise partner.

1

Assess

We visit, look at what you already have — space, devices, staff, student mix — and map it against what the mandate and the market actually require.

2

Design

You get a written plan: lab specification, curriculum map by grade or semester, teacher-training schedule, timeline and commercials. No surprises later.

3

Install & train

We set the lab up, load the platform, and train your teachers until they can run a class without us in the room. Then we certify them.

4

Run & improve

Curriculum updates, classroom support, student assessments and a dashboard that shows you what is actually happening in the lab, term after term.

The platform

What every AST centre runs on

Curriculum that ships

Grade-wise and semester-wise AI curriculum, updated continuously as the tools change — not printed once and left to age.

Teachers, trained properly

Train-the-trainer tracks with certification. A lab without a confident teacher in it is just equipment.

Labs specified for real use

Hardware and software specified for the work students will actually do, at a cost a tier-2 institution can carry.

Portfolios, not just marks

Every student leaves with built work — projects, prompts, models, deployed things — that an employer can look at.

Mandate-aligned

Mapped to the CBSE AI framework and the tinkering-lab push, so compliance is a by-product of teaching well.

Local languages

Delivered in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Instruction in a language that is not yours is a tax on learning.

Certification

Credentials that travel

Learning is only half of it. What a student can show afterwards is what changes their options.

  • NASSCOM certification pathway for select programs, under a signed memorandum of understanding
  • Co-branded certificates with partner universities for campus centres
  • A public project portfolio for every graduate, not just a certificate PDF
  • Assessment records schools can produce for inspection and reporting

Questions

Frequently asked

Do we need existing computer labs to start?

No. We assess what you have and specify the smallest viable setup that will actually support the curriculum. Many schools start with a single room and expand once teachers are confident.

Who teaches the classes — your staff or ours?

Both models exist. For schools we usually train your own teachers and certify them, with our support in the classroom during the first term. For university centres and franchise centres, a mix of certified in-house trainers and AST faculty is typical.

Is this only for Punjab?

Punjab is where we build first and prove the model, starting from Jalandhar. The franchise model is how the network extends to other states — partners license the platform and we help them set the centre up.

What does it cost?

Commercials depend on the model, the size of the cohort and what infrastructure already exists. Tell us what you have and we will send a written proposal with the full breakdown.

How does the NASSCOM certification work?

NASSCOM issues certificates in select areas under a prior agreement. Which of your programs qualify is confirmed in writing before enrolment opens, so nobody is promised a credential that has not been signed off.

Punjab's next decade gets built in its classrooms.

Tell us who you are — a school, a campus, a parent, or someone who wants to run an AI centre in their own city — and we will tell you exactly what the first ninety days look like.
